Mumbai: Makers of `Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi`, which marks choreographer-director Farah Khan`s foray into acting, are banking on superhit Bollywood love stories to promote the film and generate audience interest ahead of the release next month.

The first poster of `Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi`, which also stars veteran Boman Irani, was based on the iconic poster of 1994 Salman Khan-Madhuri Dixit starrer mega hit `Hum Aapke Hain Kaun`. In the poster, Boman was shown wearing a white shirt and trouser (like Salman), while Farah wore a violet sari and posed as Madhuri.

The second look of the film, directed by Bela Sehgal, is out. This time it brings back memories of Karan Johar`s `Kuch Kuch Hota Hai`, a 1998 blockbuster that starred Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.

The just-released poster has Boman dressed up in a cool avatar as Rahul (Shahrukh) and Farah as tom girl Anjali (Kajol). There is a third and the final look which is yet to be unveiled, but it will be another iconic love story.

"In the film, there is nothing like Rahul or Anjali...it`s just a promotional thing. It is sweet and cute thing. Karan (Karan Johar) made a lovely film (?Kuch Kuch Hota Hai?) and we thought of using the famous characters Rahul and Anjali from the film as part of our promotions," Bela told reporters here today at the second look launch of the film.

"There is one more like this...we cannot reveal it now. It will be a surprise," she said. Asked if the third look will be based on an Aamir Khan move, Bela said, "we will not reveal anything now."

`Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi`, a love story of two 40-plus Parsis, is the first venture of Bela, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s younger sister. In the film, which releases on August 24, Farah plays the romantic interest of Boman. "I don`t like that make-up, but Bela made me feel very comfortable as an actor, especially in a romantic scene with Boman," Farah said.
