Mumbai: Actor-producer Aamir Khan says his upcoming home production, `Delhi Belly`, which has some bold scenes and obscene language, is not a "sex comedy".

"`Delhi Belly` is a very irreverent film. It does not have any skin-show but `ashleel` (obscene) language has been used. It is not a sex comedy. It is a `kameena` comedy. There is no sex at all in the film. I think the movie will change the definition of bold films in the industry," Aamir told reporters at the launch of the theatrical trailer of the movie.

The movie has been given `A` rating and the promos feature some scenes with sexual connotations.

Directed by Abhinay Deo, `Delhi Belly` is a crime- comedy, revolving around three friends living in a bachelor pad in Delhi.

The actor-producer insists the film is not for kids.

"The movie is not for kids because of `ashleel` language. It is for those who are young at heart," he said.

The film stars Imran Khan, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Poorna Jagannathan, Vir Das and Shenaz Treasurywala.

The film has been in the making for a long time. But Aamir owns up the responsibility for delay.

"It is my fault. I can work only on one film at a time.

At Aamir Khan Productions, the final cut stays with the producer. So, I make sure that I sit on the edit of the film and also work on its promotions," he said.

"If it works in film`s favour, if it`s betterment, then it is good for me," director Deo said.

There were rumours of a rift between Aamir and Abhinay.

"It is all untrue. I did not even attend one day of the shoot.

When I saw the film, I realised that Abhinay had done justice to the film," Aamir said.

The film releases on July 1.
