Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited application from eligible candidates with an interest to word as Administrative Officer.

Salary

Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs. 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with two years experience in Administration, Accounts and establishment, Legal or Vigilance matters in Central or State or Union Territory Government or Government Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Central or State Public Sector Corporation or University.

Note: The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled castes or Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the post reserved for them.

Desirable Qualification

Degree in Law or Personnel Management from recognized University. Knowledge of Govt rules and regulations related to administration, accounts and establishment.

Job Description

To look after the work of Administration, accounts and establishment, Legal or vigilance matters and other allied duties.

Age Limit

Maximum: 30 Years

However, 5 years relaxation is there for Scheduled Caste candidates in respect of vacancy reserved for them and 3 years for Other Backward Classes candidates in respect of the vacancies reserved for them.

Selection Procedure

The selection will be done on the basis of either written exam or interview or both.
