SSC CHSL Jobs 2017: Recruitment for over 3,000 posts; four more days to apply

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: If you are yet to apply for the recruitment of over 3,000 Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator (DEO), then don’t get too late as the deadline will end on December 18.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had released notification to conduct Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Exam 2017 for the recruitment of 3259 LDC/ JSA, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator (DEO).

How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the official website www.ssc.nic.in
  2. Click on Apply ‘CHSL’
  3. Click on ‘Click Here to Apply’ and Register first by filling all the asked details
  4. After Registration part is done, click on ‘Apply Online’
  5. Fill all the details and submit the form

Age Limit:

Candidates need to be between 18-27 years of age as on August 1, 2018. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC nd 10 years for Differently-abled candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates need to have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University for Post- 1 & 2. However, for Post- 3, 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent is required.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a computer-based exam, descriptive test, skill test and interview.

Application Fee:

Candidates will have to shell out Rs 100. No fee is required for women candidates of all categories and SC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen.

Important to Note: The date of Computer Based Exam (Tier-I) from March 4 to 26, 2018 while t date of Tier II exam (Descriptive Paper) is July 8, 2018.
