Bhubaneswar: Railway job aspirants, here’s comes the big day… the exam date for the 26502 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician under Group C category in the railways has been announced.
The commencement of First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will be from August 9, 2018.
The intimation of exam city (city where a particular candidate will appear for the exam) and date and session of the candidate will be out on July 26, 2018.
Aspiring candidates can download their Admit Cards four day prior to the commencement of the ALP & Technician exam which will be from August 9.

Total Duration for the Exam: 60 Minutes
However, it will be 80 minutes for the eligible PWD candidates accompanied with scribes.
No of Questions: 75
Total Mark: 75
NOTE: The exam will be conducted on the basis of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
Candidates must remember that NEGATIVE marking will be there- 1/3 for each incorrect answer.
It is worth mentioning that earlier news were there that the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had been planning to conduct the Group C and D exams in September 2018 and the entire processes of the exams was expected to be completed by December 2018
The exams will be conducted to fill as many as 26502 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician under Group C category in the railways. Similarly, 62907 posts in Group D will be filled through the exams.
