Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways, this year, is having the biggest requirement drive ever ‏in the history of the national transporter with the recruitment process for as many as 90,000 posts being already kicked off.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal through a tweet informed that the railway will start the recruitment to fill vacancy of 9,500 candidates under Railway Protection Force (RPF) category.

The minister also said that out of the total recruitment, 50 per cent seats will be for women candidates.

In another tweet, Goyal informed that the NDA government, after it came to power in 2014, coach-making work at Raebareli was kicked off and this year a record 700 coaches will be built.

In the next couple of years, the factory will manufacture 3,000 coaches, he added.
