Bhubaneswar: In yet another major announcement for aspirants who are looking for a government job, the postal circle has released recruitment notification to fill up 350 vacancies for the posts of Postman, Mail Guards and Postal Assistants under the Postal Recruitment 2018.

Candidates are advised to apply on the official website of India Post on or before the last date of application, i.e. March 15, 2018.

Details of each of the postal circles including age limit, educational qualification, selection process and number of vacancies have been given below.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed Matriculation/ 10th Standard from a recognised board or Institute.

Age Limit: Applicants’ age should be between 18 and 27 years. However, there is age relaxation as per the notification.

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be based on an aptitude test and then on the merit list.

Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates have been exempted from payment of application fees.

How to Apply:

Candidates need to have a valid email id & mobile number before applying.

Visit the official website i.e www.indiapost.gov.in/ appost.in.

Select the post which you want to apply & Click Apply Online.

Complete the registration process.

Fill all the form carefully and submit.

Take print out of application form for future use.

Important Dates:

Starting Date of Application: February 14, 2018

Closing Date of Application: March 15, 2018 till 11.59 pm

Last Date to pay fees at Post Office: March 16, 2018

Last Date to submit final Application through Online: March 22, 2018

Educational Qualification: Refer official notification provided below.

Age Limit: Applicants’ age should not exceed 50 years as on April 1, 2017. However OBC candidates have been given a relaxation of 3 years, while SC/ST candidates have been given relaxation of 5 years.

Selection Process: The selection will purely be based on a written exam and later an interview will be conducted.
