New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to come up with the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) by next month.

The CTET 2018 notification will be released by the Board by Mach and the test for the same will be held by June, Hindi Newspaper Hindustan reported.

CBSE will be conducting the exam, as being entrusted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

It is worth mentioning  that the Right to  Information Act mandates that that an aspiring teacher must pass Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) , as per a notification dated August 23, 2010 and July 29, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible  as a teacher for class I to VIII.

Moreover, an official told the newspaper that the delay in notification is due to the changes being applied to the CTET syllabus, NDTV reported.
