BREAKING: Railway Group D application submission date revised

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: After relaxing the eligibility criteria for the recruitment to fill 62, 907 post vacancies under Group D category, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the deadline for the submission of the application form.

The date has now been extended to March 31, 2018 against the earlier deadline, March 12.

Here’s the detail of the Railway Group D Recruitment:

Age Limit

Applicants applying should be between 18 and 31 years as on July 1, 2018. However, there is relaxation in the upper age limit of reserve category candidates as per the rule.

Educational Qualification

Following a series of protest across the country, Indian Railways had on February 22 relaxed the minimum qualification for its 62,907 vacancies under Group D category by dropping the requirement of an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or equivalent certificate.

It was earlier Class 10th or ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT / SCVT or its equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT / SCVT.

Last date of SBI challan: March 31

Last date post office challan: March 29

Exam Date: April/May 2018 (tentative)
