New Delhi: In a good news for the students preparing for competitive exams, the Ministry of Defence, 17 CORPS OMC has released notification for the recruitment of Tradesman Mate (Maz) and Tradesman (Carpenter).
Interested candidates can apply within 21 days from the publishing date of the recruitment advertisement. The advertisement was released on 16-12-2017. Meanwhile, for remote areas the deadline to apply is 28 days.

Age Limit
Candidates applying under unreserved and OBC categories must be between 18 and 25 years of age while it is 18 to 30 years for SC/ ST candidates. Besides, age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification
The candidates who have completed Matriculation or equivalent can apply for Post 1 while Matriculation or equivalent certificate in relevant trade from a recognized industrial training institute is required for Post 2.

Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done purely on the basis of written and physical endurance test.
