Miscreants target car with crude bombs in Berhampur; 4 injured

Berhampur: Police on Sunday intensified probe after four persons were reportedly injured after miscreants targeted their car with crude bombs near Lanjipalli chhak in Berhampur.

The incident occurred when Sushant Bisoi along with four others was on their way to a police station.

According to reports, three motorcycle borne miscreants intercepted the car and hurled three crude bombs. Four of the car occupants have been injured in the attack.

Though the exact reason behind the bombing is still unclear, it is suspected that the incident could be the fall out of some past rivalry. However, senior police officials of three different police stations have started investigation into the incident.

Senior police officials informed that CCTV camera footage is being reviewed while four live crude bombs have been recovered from the spot.
