Miscreants loot Rs 10 lakh from cement dealer at gun point

Angul: Four unidentified miscreants allegedly looted Rs 10 lakh from a cement dealer at gun point near Gangaram Chhak in Athamallik town of Angul district in wee hours on Thursday.

The incident occurred when cement dealer Mahesh Agarwal had just opened his shop at around 4.30 am today.

The four miscreants entered Agarwal's shop on two bikes and after threatening him with a gun looted the money and fled the spot.

Meanwhile, basing on a complaint lodged by Agarwal, the Athmallik police have started a probe taking into account various aspects into consideration.
