Bhubaneswar: National Aluminium Company (Nalco), which has its headquarters located in the city, has paid an interim dividend of Rs 260.72 crore to the Central government for the financial year 2014-15.

Company's chairman-cum-managing director Ansuman Das yesterday presented a cheque of Rs 260.72 crore to Union Steel and Mines minister Narendra Singh Tomar as interim dividend on 80.93% shares held by the government.

Meanwhile, the Navaratna public sector undertaking has declared an interim dividend of 25% or Rs 1.25 per share of Rs 5 each for the year.

The company had paid dividend of Rs 386.59 crore in the last fiscal.
