Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has announced allocation of 4 GB data for each billing cycle of 28 days to its subscribers for a recharge of Rs 149 under a new scheme 'Diwali Dhamaka' from today.

Earlier, the Rs 149 recharge plan was offering 2 GB data.

Also, the telecom company increased rate of its 84-day validity for Rs 399 recharge under the Dhan Dhana Dhan plan to Rs 459 from today.

Besides, Jio launched a plan for Rs 52 recharge with one-week validity and Rs 98 recharge with two weeks validity. With these two new plans, subscribers will get free voice, SMS, and unlimited data (0.15 GB daily).

The plans will offer unlimited voice calls even during roaming.

Meanwhile, the company reduced benefit under Rs 509 scheme. As per the new plan, validity or billing cycle was reduced from 56 days to 49 days and data allocation is reduced to 98GB from 112 GB.

The Rs 999 plan will now offer 60GB 4G high speed data for three months whereas the Rs 1,999 plan will have six months validity and offer 125GB data at unrestricted high speed.

Under the new tariff, the Rs 4,999 plan will have one year validity instead of 210 days. However, subscribers will get 350 GB high speed data as per the plan.
