Bhubaneswar: Dhamra Port, a 100 % subsidiary of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd, on Thursday paid Rs 73.48 crore to the state government as revenue share of the port to Odisha Government.

Director, Dhamra Port Company Ltd (DPCL) Santosh Kumar Mohapatra handed over a bank document of the amount of revenue share to chief minister Naveen Patnaik at the State secretariat.

Among others, chief secretary GC Pati, additional chief secretary Aditya Padhi, R Balakrishnan and principal secretary, Commerce and Transport Department Sanjay Rastogi were also present on the occasion.

The Revenue Share of Rs 73.48 crore covers the period since the commencement of operation of the port in May 2011 upto September 2014, DPCL sources said.
