Gangrape survivor Plus II student says heinous act was recorded

Sundargarh: The Plus II first year student who was allegedly gang raped by three seniors on the premises of Badagaon Panchayat College in Sundargarh district. today said the heinous act was recorded by another student.

A student who was opposing the crime was forced to record the incident by the accused students, she said. The SDPO has said that police is yet to find the recording.

Earlier, the survivor filed a complaint at the Badagaon police station that three Plus II second year students dragged her to the college rooftop and raped her.

On the other hand, the police launched a probe after the complaint was lodged and after detaining one person for questioning, two more have been detained in this connection today.

Sundargarh SP Pinak Mishra said a DSP rank officer has been asked to probe the matter.
