Man kills wife over extramarital affair, surrenders

Sambalpur: A man killed his wife, beating her to death with an iron rod over family quarrel in Kumbharapada area of Samabalpur.

Suspecting his wife Puja Tandi of having an extra-marital affair, accused Feroze Tandi beat her incessantly today morning over an argument causing her death on-the-spot. Later, Feroze surrendered before cops along with his 3-year-old daughter. Feroze and Puja were dancers by profession.

Police reached the spot and began a probe.

Dhanupali police officer Tofan Bag said the spot visit was over and dead body was sent for a post mortem.
