Inter-State bike lifting gang busted, 21 bikes seized

Rourkela: Busting an inter-state gang of bike robbers, Rourkela Plant site police arrested seven gang members and recovered 21 motorcycles here on Monday.

As per reports, the gang included members from Odisha and Jharkhand which mainly operated in Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh and Jharsuguda districts.

The stolen bikes were later sold to rural people in Jharkhand with the help of fake documents at a price ranging from Rs 5000 to Rs 7000.

Meanwhile, police have launched an operation to nab other absconders of the gang.
