Bombs hurled at two places in Odisha

Puri/Cuttack: Bombing incidents were reported from two different places in the state on Sunday with no reports of any casualties.

Unidentified miscreants hurled more than 10 crude bombs at Kanti Bazaar under Pipili Tehsil in Puri district.

The assessment of damage inflicted was yet to be ascertained till the latest reports were filed.

The incident was fallout of past rivalry, police said, after conducting an on-spot investigation.

In Cuttack, two bike-borne persons hurled bombs at a hotel in Badambadi area and fled the spot. The reason of bombing was unclear as police have started investigation into the incident.
